11: AALBORG's goalie booted the ball up the field which THOMSEN brought under control and tUrned to attack. The fans were now beginning to really make some noise as THOMSEN played a clever back-heel to SODA who, despite the close attention of MAGNUSSON, quickly released the ball for FREDERIKSEN who seemed to have timed his run between LOFTSSON and GUNNARSSON to perfection but the referee's assistant raised his flag and the ref blew for offside.
19: HREIDARSSO finished a crashing run down the wing with a beautifully flighted cross into the packed penalty area.It was a great pass which found MAGNUSSON in a great position. He rifled off an early shot. With a magnificent leap NIELSON just managed to get a hand to it and punch it out for FACIUS to carry away upfield.
26: SIGNUDSSON rolled the ball out to his nearest defender who turned and passed to GUNNARSSON. He drew MARMEDOV toward him and then sent MAGNUSSON away down the right, who took it forward and then crossed. ROSENGREN and HREIDARSSO leapt for it but it was NIELSON who caught it comfortably as he came out to meet the cross.
33: VALUR's MAGNUSSON suddenly burst from midfield and made for goal, releasing £he ball to ASKELSSON who in turn picked out GUNNARSSON perfectly to continue the run on goal. GUNNARSSON played a quick one-two with HREIDARSSO and then slotted the ball through for BRAGSSON who then started to make a run between FREDERIKSEN and MATOVAC who simply raised their hands and the ref blew for offside to the vocal disgust of the VALUR supporters.
42: AALBORG's THORST unfairly brought down one of the VALUR players, giving away a free kick. HREIDARSSO stepped up to take it and passed square to MAGNUSSON. BRAGSSON was still in the AALBORG half after picking himself up after the crunching tackle by MARMEDOV. Further upfield MAGNUSSON played a clever through ball to GUNNARSSON, beating the offside trap. Even though the straying VALUR player was not interfering with play, he was stood still with his arms raised, the referee blew for offside. The VALUR players and fans were incensed by the decision and the VALUR captain went over to the referee to remind him of the offside rules.

58: ASKELSSON collected a long ball from defence, expertly rounded THOMSEN with the help of HREINSSON and took the ball toward AALBORG's goal. He took it easily round MUNOZ NANDO and ~laye~ a short ball to GUNNARSSON. Under pressure froAn M7LTNOZ NANDO he managed to deliver a great ball into AALBORG's 6-yard box. NIELSON rose to catch it but a lack of communication in defence meant that MARMEDOV's head met the ball first and it bounced invitingly out to BRAGSSON on the edge of the penalty area. He took aim and then struck a shot at goal. NIELSON saw it late, made a great effort to get across, but it was in vain and the ball skidded sexily past his outstretched arms and into the far corner. GOAL!
64: MAGNUSSON (of VALUR) made a long pass right across the pitch which was recei~red on the chest by MAGNUSSON who turned to attack AALBORG's goal. Pure skill took him past an ungainly THOMSEN, right to the edge of the area where he flicked it square to BRAGSSON who'd pulled off his marker to give himself space for a stunning mid-air volley. Somehow it beat the outstretched hand of NIELSON and glanced off the inside of the post for great GOAL!
76: VALUR's goalie booted the ball up the field which HREIDARSSO brought under control and turned to attack. AALBORG's THOMSEN took up the chase and it was~ his messy tackle that sent HREIDARSSO tumbling to the ground, much to the delight of AALBORG's cheering fans. VALUR won a direct free kick but the opportunity was wasted and the shot was easily cleared by AALBORG's defence.
85: AALBORG made a substitution: DEMETRADZE came on for FREDERIKSEN.
86: ASKELSSON collected a long ball from defence, expertly rounded ROSENGREN
with the help of HREINSSON and took the ball toward AALBORG's goal. DEMETRADZE
crashed into him but he kept his feet and passed to BRAGSSON. He took the
ball wide, shrugged off a challenge from MUNOZ NANDO and crossed into the
box. AALBORG's goalie punched the ball away under pressure but it fell
invitingly for GUNNARSSON and he volleyed the ball goalward. Somehow it
beat the outstretched hand of NIELSON and glanced off the inside of the
post for great GOAL!
