10: BLACKBURN RVRS's McMANAMAN passed to DUN who quickly knocked it on to an unmarked JANSEN who started a sprint for goal. He took it to the edge of the area unopposed and squared the ball across the face of the goal. CARSLEY got the better of BOYE and it was his outstretched foot that sent the ball goalward. Even though JORGENSEN had the angle covered his outstretched leg only succeeded in pushing the ball onto the post and over the line. GOAL!

21: JANSEN and ThORST rose to meet a long kick from AALBORG's goalie. JANSEN managed to get his head to the ball but couldn't direct it. The ball fell invitingly for DISSING and AALBORG were back on the attack. DISSING passes the ball to ROSENGREN who then turned to attack. BACH had made a beautifully timed diagonal run and ROSENGREN threaded the ball straight into his path which took him clean through with the keeper to beat. He attempts to dazzle the keeper with a beautiful step-over-type shimmy before sending the ball goal bound.KELLY dived and smothered the ball, preventing what would have been a goal.

32: BLACKBURN RVRS's defence poorly cleared the ball and it fell nicely for AALBORG's THORST. He rode his luck as he made it to the edge of the BLACKBURN RVRS penalty box. He was almost tripped by SHORT but managed to send the ball wide to THOMSEN who's first time cross was met by the welcome head of BACH. The keeper got an arm to the ball. The ball ricochet onto the crossbar and crashed down towards the goal-line and bounced out to be cleared by the defence. The AALBORG players were adamant the ball was over the line. The referee consulted his assistant and after a lengthy chat pointed to the centre circle. GOAL! ! ! ! ! !

43: A midfield situation turned into an attack as BLACKBURN RVRS's JANSEN made a fast sprint toward goal with BLAKE following up in support. He played an intelligent ball to SHORT on the far side who was soon closed down by MADSEN. A smooth flick into the path of DUN who'd made a great run into space created the chance BLACKBURN RVRS were looking for and he unleashed a shot. Grief-stricken AALBORG fans watch silently as JORGENSEN's fantastic dive was beaten by the pace of the ball. GOAL!

HALF-TIME: 2-1

50: BLACKBURN RVRS made a substitution: DUFF came on for BLAKE.

50: AALBORG's FACIUS made a short pass to ROSENGREN who took it round O'BRIEN and then passed the ball on to DISSING. He took it in his stride ·as he made a run toward goal. He hadn't got very far before he found himself unfairly body-checked by BLACKBURN RVRS's PEACOCK and he stumbled awkwardly to the ground. The Referee gave AALBORG an indirect free kick. The ball was launched into BLACKBURN RVRS's area but BLACKBURN RVRS's goalkeeper rose above all the players to claim it with ease.

56: AALBORG's goalie launched the ball up field which was first headed by DUN and then McMANAMAN, before ROSENGREN stole in and took the ball and put his team on the offensive. He did some neat footwork to get past KENNA and his pace was enough to get him past JANSEN but his luck ran out when confronted by an over-eager DUFF whose late tackle sent him crashing to the ground and caused the crowd to protest loudly. The Referee gave AALBORG an indirect free kick. The ball was launched into BLACKBURN RVRS's area but BLACKBURN RVRS's goalkeeper rose above all the players to claim it with ease.

62: JANSEN sets DUN on his way with a superb pass. He gets to the by-line and pulls the ball back without looking up to check for support.Sadly, it was a poor effort which flew high over the head of McMANAMAN and into the outstretched arms of JORGENSEN who'd come out to meet it.

70: AALBORG made a substitution: RASMUSSEN came on for THOMSEN.

72: AALBORG's defence poorly cleared the ball and it fell nicely for BLACKBURN RVRS's CARSLEY. He side-stepped KRISTENSEN without any trouble, slotted a perfectly weighted ball past BOYE to McMANAMAN who took it nicely, dribbled into the box and poked a shot at goal before MADSEN could close him down. A cruel bounce wrong-footed JORGENSEN and he was powerless to prevent the ball from finding the back of the net (to the delight of the BLACKBURN RVRS fans). GOAL!

75: AALBORG made a substitution: PEDERSEN came on for RASMUSSEN.

80: BLACKBURN RVRS made a substitution: DUFF off, HARKNESS on.

80: FACIUS took the ball past O'BRIEN, did a neat one-two with DISSING to get past McMANAMAN along the left wing and finished a great run with a cross into the area. BACH knocked the ball on. The ball came straight to the feet of CARSLEY who cleared the ball with venom, making~re it would clear the danger area.

87: THORST took the ball past KENNA, did a neat one-two with DISSING to get past SHORT along the right wing and finished a great run with a cross into the area. PEDERSEN collected it and tried to shoot but it bounced off McMANAMAN and was eventually cleared to safety by MURPHY, much to the relief of the BLACKBURN RVRS defence.
