And, my great contribution to this great game:
THE PFF MANAGER'S TEMPLATE V1.6 (Excel 2000 format)
THE
PFF MANAGER'S TEMPLATE V1.6 (Excel 97 format)
THE
PFF MANAGER'S TEMPLATE V1.6 (Excel 95 format)
This is a spreadsheet where you input the value of each
player. On the first page, the spreadsheet calculates how that player
would do in each position. A mix of various players is included for example.
The other page is for team numbers. This calculates what your best tactics
are with those 10 as starters. Then, that number is compared to the average
team from. This is a composite showing how well a team will REALLY
perform for each tactic. It also calculates the team averages for each
category (ie., the starting lineup has an average Tackling of 8.4).
I've recently added an additional
sheet: player ratings adjusted for form. In other words, if you have one
32-rated player with a form of 9, and a 34-rated player whose form is only
a 5, you may want to play the 32-rated player (and give your starter a rest
to recover his form!)
With V1.3, I've averaged out
the tactics page to provide a score that's in the same range as the
positional ratings (for example, Real Madrid might be a 30.4 for a tactic,
where V1.2 had shown the tactic rating as a 228).
V1.5 adds a column to calculate
the average of all player stats.
V1.6 adds columns to calculate
averages for inside positionals and outside positionals, as well as adding
a sheet to record players you've transfered away.
And. here's the team page for Marseille, co-managed by my friends Alo and Martin:
